I asked Ella to put on her shoes so we could go to the grocery store.....
Nothing was happening so I told her she better get going or we might not get back in time for her princess friend to come. That got her attention.
And she tried...
For a moment anyway.
Well, she didn't miss her visit from the princess. She came, she played and baked cookies and ate. Fun was had by all.
This morning I got my due in catching the same cold that I made fun of Jack about.
And, now I want sympathy.

Right now the "shoe story" is so cute but wait till school starts and you have to catch the bus!
Ella is so cute...of course I'm not trying to go to the store. I love the blog BTW!

I loved the shoe story.. I was just struggling with Johanna today with the same thing.. "PLEEEEEZZZZZ put on your shoes... I beeeeegggggg you"
Put on his shoes? I am lucky if Josiah can find his shoes - when they are right in front of him. That little man gets so distracted!
