Unloading the eating utensils from the dishwasher. This used to be her favorite job. Do you think it still is?

How sad that the novelty has to wear off. It is like that for a lot of things in life isn't it? Passion turns into familiarity, familiarity turns into boredom, boredom turns into contempt.
Here's to keeping the passion alive!

I love it! I am so glad Mike doesn't photograph me when I unload the dishwasher!
I LOVE it!!!! You have the best blog Meela! I love Ella and watching her grow through your thoughts! Love the pics! :) thanks for making my day as it was a tough one for me.
Thanks Malaika and "A"! So, so happy that I could help just a wee bit with your yucky day Malaika.
Ha ha ha! It'll be so fun to show her those pics when she's the mommy of a 4 yr old :) I'm hoping for the novelty of that chore to emerge soon. How long did it stay novel? I'd just like to have a ballpark so I'm not disillusioned into thinking that it'll last for a while.
this is so great!!! LOVE IT!!!
Isn't it amazing how once it becomes a chore, its not fun anymore? Johanna loves to fold washclothes and hand towels, begs me to let her. Or I should say - used to beg. I told her she's a big girl so she gets to have a job that's her responsibility - folding washclothes and hand towels. She adamantly refused to do it - no matter what the consequence. I still haven't managed to get her to do it.
